The city of Lawrence reports two projects that could affect your driving this week:

• Traffic headed north on Naismith Drive will be squeezed into one lane at 20th Street Tuesday , while city crews replace a water line. The lane is expected to reopen sometime Tuesday afternoon.

• Work to replace tiles near railroad tracks will close North Ninth Street to through traffic until Feb. 27, from Lyon to Maple streets in North Lawrence. Local access will be maintained for people who live along North Ninth, officials said.
