I know it may be hard to shop the winter clearance racks right now when all the spring/summer clothes are out in all their glory.  

But I had the best luck this past week shopping the clearance racks at Kohls and Macy’s.

At this point, items may be somewhat picked over, but you may hit a few really good bargains, like I did.  I totally love the hunt.

I scored a couple of turtlenecks at Kohls.  The men in my family got really lucky at Macy’s.  My son picked up a Northface fleece jacket for $70 (regular price $165).  I purchased Izod men’s twill pants for $21.99 (regular $60)and an Izod cardigan for $6.99 (regular $70).

And believe or not, I was still able to use my Macy’s coupon.

So, if you find yourself passing up the clearance racks, you might want to give them a second look.  You never know what you might find.
