Labor Day Weekend is a Time to Slow Down and Catch Up

Like most holiday weekends, you will find no new coupons in this week’s paper. This is a great chance to get caught up on your clipping and check out the printable coupons available all across the web. Our family likes to use this weekend to slow down and relax a little bit, enjoy being together without running around. I hope you and your family are doing your favorite activities this weekend!

Just a couple of deals that might be interesting this holiday weekend:

Kraft Shredded Cheese is $2 at HyVee. Print this $5/5 coupon from Kraft and get them for $1 each.

In case you didn’t get enough cereal at HyVee last week…there is a Kellogg’s deal this week: Buy 4 participating Kellogg’s items for $10 and get a free box of Special K bars or Low-Fat Granola. Personally, I’m a big fan of this granola so I’m pleased to see it as a deal. This becomes an even better deal if you have any of your $6 ONYNO (On Your Next Order) coupons from last week.

Dillons has $0.89 cantaloupe right now. That’s EACH… not per pound. They are not quite ripe but for this great price I don’t mind having a melon hanging out on my counter for a few days.

You can also find Suddenly Salad on sale $10/10 at Dillons. These only go on sale like this about once a year. One extra of these in your cart would make a great donation to the Ballard Community Center Food Pantry. Remember that you can drop it off at Lawrence Freenet and I will take it across town for you if you don’t want to make the trip!

If you or your kids are a fan of Mac and Cheese but you like to keep your foods healthier…and organic… Annie’s Mac and Cheese is $10/10 as well as Horizon single serve organic milk at Dillons.

I hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday weekend. Be sure to share your favorite deals with us here or on our Shop Talk with Jenn and Julie Facebook page.
