September 18th Early Morning Law Enforcement & Fire/Medical wrap up

Lawrence Police investigated several reported burglaries this morning. The first was reported in the 1700 block of Ohio Street at 3:36. The caller believed that their neighbor may have been the victim of a burglary after hearing glass breaking. At least four officers responded on the call. As of this report, no arrests have been recorded and there was no description of any possible suspects.

The second burglary was reported at 6:28, in the 1000 block of Tennessee Street. This time a resident reported awaking to the sound of things breaking on the first floor. Police arrived and reported locating a broken window on the back of the address. That officer also reported that there was no sign of forced entry. Again, there have been no arrests recorded and no description of any possible suspects was available.

None of this morning’s activity was reported to have involved any serious injuries.
