October 5th Early Morning Law Enforcement & Fire/Medical wrap up

Lawrence Police responded on a report of a disturbance with weapons in the 2500 block of Redbud Lane. A caller reported two people arguing. One of those people was said to be armed with a knife. At least four officers responded to the area and were unable to locate anyone in the area. Officers cleared from the call after about 20 minutes of searching through the area.

At 4:27, Police were called to investigate a Domestic Disturbance in the 2500 block of W 31st Street. The caller reported a female struck a male and then fled in a vehicle from the apartment complex. Law Enforcement caught up with the alleged suspect about 25 minutes later and she was arrested. The female faces a charge of Domestic Battery.

None of this morning’s activity was reported to have involved any serious injuries.
