February 14th Early Morning Law Enforcement & Fire/Medical wrap up

A little bit quieter this morning without falling snow causing accidents.

Police in Lawrence responded on two noise complaints, a non injury accident and conducted two vehicle stops.

At 2 a.m., Officers were called to the 1300 block of Tennessee Street on a Battery. Little information was available regarding this incident, no injuries were reported.

Just over an hour later, Police were called to the 2500 block of Crestline Place for an Armed Disturbance. The caller reported a male with a large knife. A “Bowie knife” was one description given by Emergency Dispatchers. The subject with the knife reportedly fled in a vehicle prior to Police being called. It was unclear whether or not Officers were able to catch up with the alleged suspect. No injuries were reported.
