September 6th Overnight Law Enforcement & Fire/Medical wrap up

The night was started off with four fireworks complaints. 9:48 p.m. at Dad Perry Park (1200 block of Monterey Way), two minutes later in the 1600 block of Davis Road, 10:30 p.m. in the 900 block of Rhode Island Street and 10:55 p.m. in the 2500 block of W 31st Street.

Lawrence Police were called to the 2400 block of W 6th Street shortly after 11 p.m. on a disturbance in which one of the subjects was said to have been armed with a weapon. Police arrived and the subjects involved had separated and one had left the area.

Police conducted a few vehicle stops, building checks and a few other disturbances.

LDCFM responded on numerous medical emergency calls, one of which sounded to be life threatening.

County Deputies and Fire were called to investigate a possible injury accident shortly before 6:15 a.m. this morning in the 700 block of E 800 Road. One car is involved and possible rolled off of the roadway. Units are still on scene there as of 6:30 and are reporting minor injuries to one person.
