November 17th Early Morning Law Enforcement & Fire/Medical wrap up

Lawrence Police caught up with a suspected intoxicated driver around 2:20 a.m. in the 1100 block of Kentucky Street.

The rest of this morning’s activity was fairly normal and stayed pretty quiet. Police did conduct a few vehicle stops and cited several parking violations. Police were not called out on a single disturbance or noise complaint after 2 a.m..

None of the early morning activity resulted in any serious injuries or involved the use of weapons.

The two escaped inmates from the Lansing Correctional Facility are back in custody this morning. More information here.
