June 16th Overnight Law Enforcement & Fire/Medical wrap up
Another quiet overnight in Douglas County. When the night was all said and done, not really much worth reporting this morning. A few noise complaints and minor disturbances. None of the overnight activity that I heard involved any serious injuries or the use of weapons.
Lawrence Police were called to the 1400 block of Kentucky just before 12:30 a.m. on reports of gunshots heard in the area. Police arrived to find a disturbance and determined that there was not a firearm involved, the report of gunshots was apparently slamming car doors.
