July 2nd Overnight Law Enforcement & Fire/Medical wrap up

Last night between about 7 p.m. and 11 p.m., Lawrence Police responded on 12 fireworks complaints. Most of which the subjects involved either were finished or had left the area before Police were able to arrive.

Police were also called to respond on several animal complaints, two involving barking dogs and the third involved a raccoon in a trash can.

Around 11:30 p.m. Police made a car stop in the 2400 block of Ousdahl Road. When initiating the stop, Police noticed one of the vehicle occupants throwing something from an open window. Police located that item and the subject was arrested.

The rest of the night was a lot of the fairly normal calls, disturbances, alarms, noise complaints and quite a few car stops. One of the disturbances allegedly involved a knife. No serious injuries were reported with any of the overnight activity.
