July 12th Overnight Law Enforcement & Fire/Medical wrap up

Still a few fireworks complaints, nothing compared to about the week’s call load.

Lawrence Police responded on fairly routine calls overnight including; noise complaints, disturbances and multiple burglary alarms. Almost all of the burglary alarms ended up being false alarms. Police also conducted a number of vehicle stops.

Another pretty quiet night for LDCFM along with County Deputies. Deputies responded on a few burglary alarms and a report of suspicious vehicles in Eudora.

None of the overnight activity, that I heard, involved the use of weapons or resulted in any serious injuries.

Again, the activity blogged here is only a sampling of some of the things that Douglas County Law Enforcement and Lawrence-Douglas County Fire & Medical respond on. To see a complete list of Lawrence Police activity, the department has that available on their website along with several easy to use maps that show approximate locations for Police activity.
