December 4th Early Morning Law Enforcement & Fire/Medical wrap up

Lawrence Police had a fair amount of activity on their hands again this morning. After 2 a.m., Police responded on five disturbances, three reports of burglaries (two were alarms), three noise complaints, and two trespassing complaints. Officers also conducted four address checks, three vehicle stops, and one field sobriety test which resulted in an arrest.

None of the disturbances involved the use of weapons or resulted in any serious injuries.

Just before 3 a.m., Lawrence Police responded to LMH to receive information about “a previous shooting.” Two officers and a supervisor responded on the call. No other information was released regarding the location, time, suspect or circumstances of the incident. The extent of the victim’s injuries was also not available this morning.

On Thursday, the Kansas Highway Patrol released their preliminary numbers for their Thanksgiving Holiday Enforcement effort, throughout the state. Their report can be found here.
