Change machine is stolen from Strong Hall


Burglaries and thefts reported¢ A 35-year-old Lawrence man reported a burglary and theft to Lawrence Police on Monday that occurred at Midwest Glass, 411 N. Iowa St. He reported that an air conditioner was damaged and a Dell laptop and flash drive were stolen. Total estimated loss is $2,280. ¢ Lawrence Police assisted Topeka Police in recovering a stolen 1993 tan Honda Accord worth $4,000. The car also had $150 in damages to the driver's side door and ignition. The incident occurred between 9:30 p.m. Saturday and 7:28 p.m. Tuesday on the 300 block of Stetson Place.¢ According to a Kansas University Public Safety report, a change machine worth $1,750 was stolen from Strong Hall at about 10:40 a.m. on Tuesday.Emergency callsLawrence-Douglas County Fire & Medical reported the following responses: ¢ Assist invalid, 9:04 a.m. Wednesday, 1610 W.
