Lawrence police are investigating a series of apartment burglaries that took place over the weekend in the 800 block of Michigan Street and the 1000 block of Missouri Street.Most of the burglaries occurred at night between Friday and Sunday, according to a police news release issued today. A suspect, however, may have surveyed the areas during the day, police said.Residents reported seeing an individual going door-to-door at apartment complexes but police say they are not sure if that person is connected to the burglaries.Anyone with information about the incidents is asked to call police at 832-7509 or CrimeStoppers tip line, 843-TIPS. The tips line is anonymous and callers who provide information leading to an arrest may be eligible for a cash award.
