It seems there’s never a shortage of outdoor music fun in Lawrence on the weekends.

This Saturday, we headed to the Americana Music Academy Saturday Jam at South Park. Although it was an all day event (and I really do wish I got to see more), we made it just in time for the final act, The Alferd Packer Memorial String Band.

You probably recognize them from a yearly tradition at the Lawrence Post Office. As always, they delivered on snarky jokes and good fun. You can see these guys several times, and you’ll find something different you’ll love about them each time.
