KU volleyball sweeps Texas Tech, extends winning streak to nine matches

The Kansas volleyball team extended its winning streak to nine matches by sweeping Texas Tech, 25-22, 25-22, 25-19 Saturday in Lubbock to remain in first place in the Big 12.

The Jayhawks (13-4 overall, 6-0 in conference) set a three-set match record with 16.5 blocks and held Texas Tech (15-6, 4-3), the second-ranked hitting team in the Big 12 to an .096 percentage.

Ashley Smith had nine kills, Camryn Ennis 25 assists and Allie Nelson 19 digs.
