Marilyn Colgan, Lawrence, along with Kermit and Margaret Kalb, Wellsville, announce the engagement of their children, Melissa Colgan, Lawrence, and Stephen Kalb, Wellsville.
The future bride is also the daughter of the late Michael Colgan. She is a 2001 graduate of Lawrence High School and a 2005 graduate of Kansas State University. She will graduate with a medical degree from Kansas University School of Medicine in May and will start residency at Smoky Hill Family Medicine Program in Salina in July.
The future groom is a 1997 graduate of Baldwin High School and a 2001 graduate of K-State. He is employed in production agriculture with Kalb Farms in Wellsville.
The couple plan a June 27, 2009, wedding at Baldwin First United Methodist Church in Baldwin City.
