Roy Sr. and Sharon McNish, Kansas City, Kan., formerly of Lawrence, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house reception from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. March 22 at the F.O.P. Hall, 7844 Leavenworth Road, Kansas City, Kan. Their children and grandchildren will be hosts for the event.
Roy D. McNish Sr. and Sharon Payne were married on March 20, 1959, in Lawrence.
Roy has been employed by Erman Corp. Inc., Kansas City, Kan., for 39 years, and Sharon is a homemaker.
They have one daughter, Bonnie Gauna; and three sons, Roy Jr., Robert and Monty, all of Kansas City, Kan.; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
