The rules have changed since Governor Brownback has been elected. We are all just pawns.

Yes, the game of war. We have to learn how to use our skills to take our state back.

When the men on the chessboard get up and tell you where to go,

And you've just had some kind of mushroom and your mind is moving low,

Go ask Alice, I think she'll know.

Mum and Dad used to keep a chess board or two going when I was growing up. We'd make a move, leave a token to mark the other's person's turn and play as the mood struck. I never considered myself very good at it, but now I feel proud to know the game at all, and that they took the time to teach me.

Too bad that most people miss the point that chess is about thinking. You must out think and out maneuver your opponent. Thinking is a subject that this generation knows nothing of, however.
