Chase Hanna finishes round with two eagles in three holes at Costa Rica Classic

Chase Hanna, Big 12 individual golf champion as a senior at Kansas in 2017, eagled two of his final three holes Friday in the Costa Rica Classic, carding a 3 on a pair of par-5 holes.

Hanna is tied for 18th at 7-under in the Latino America Tour event. He shot a 5-under 66 Friday.

Hanna has made the cut all but one time in his five events on the tour.

On the Web.com Tour, Chris Thompson heads into the third round tied for 18th in the Knoxville Open after shooting a 3-under 68 Friday for a two-day total of -4.

On the PGA Tour, Gary Woodland shot even par for a two-day total of 2-over and missed the cut at the Players Championship. Woodland has missed the cut in his past four tournaments and has made just three cuts in the eight tournaments he has played since winning the Phoenix Open, his third career PGA Tour victory.
