KU baseball ends 11-game skid with 9-4 win over Missouri State

The Kansas baseball team snapped an 11-game losing streak with a 9-4 road win over Missouri State on Wednesday at Hammons Field.

Jaxx Groshans powered the KU offense with two two-run doubles. James Cosentino also provided some pop for the Jayhawks with a solo shot in the sixth inning.

Groshans collected a team-high three hits. Cosentino, Devin Foyle and Brendt Citta added two hits apiece.

KU pitchers Conner VanCleave, Jonah Ulane, Tyler Davis, Ryan Cyr and Zack Leban combined to limit the Bears to four hits.

The Jayhawks (20-24, 3-11) will return to Big 12 play at 6 p.m. Friday to begin a three-game series against West Virginia at Hoglund Ballpark.
