KU baseball shuts out Morehead State

After back-to-back extra inning games, Kansas sophomore Ryan Zeferjahn tossed eight scoreless innings and the KU baseball team cruised to a 12-0 victory over Morehead State (16-13) in the series finale Saturday at Hoglund Ballpark.

Zeferjahn, from Topeka, allowed four hits and four walks while striking out five. The Jayhawks (17-11) produced 18 hits, including a solo home run by Devin Foyle in the second inning.
