KU softball splits doubleheader against Colorado State

After losing a 12-inning thriller to Colorado State on Friday, 8-6, the Kansas softball team bounced back with a 6-3 victory in the nightcap at Arrocha Ballpark.

The Jayhawks (25-11) scored four runs in the bottom of the fifth inning of their win, helped by an error and RBI singles from Jessie Roane and Shelby Gayre.

KU’s three-game series against Colorado State (17-7) will conclude at 1 p.m. today.
