Drew Dean and Kirk Johnson went undefeated in singles at the Washburn Rural Invitational on Wednesday at the Kossover Tennis Center, leading the LHS boys tennis team to a 3-1 team record.

The Lions beat Salina Sacred Heart, Topeka West and Topeka Seaman, and lost to host Washburn Rural. Dean went 3-0 in singles while Johnson was 2-0.

Lawrence’s Kanek Masten and Cooper Wright combined for a 3-1 record at No. 1 doubles while Stephen Teska and Ryan Logan were 3-1 at No. 2 doubles.
