Senior Ben Matthews scored twice and Lawrence High’s boys soccer team earned a 3-1 victory over Shawnee Mission West on Tuesday at the Shawnee Mission Soccer Complex.

After Matthews scored both of his goals in the first half, Kanak Masten added a score in the second half.

The Lions (3-3-2) will travel to Free State at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
