Area football roundup: Tonganoxie completes undefeated regular season
Tonganoxie’s football team completed an undefeated regular season and earned a Kaw Valley League title with a 10-3 victory over Basehor-Linwood (7-2) on Friday at home.
Dalton Bock scored on a 55-yard touchdown run with seven minutes remaining and the Chieftains (9-0) defense forced a turnover on downs. Tonganoxie won a district title and will host a playoff game next week.

Baldwin High’s football team won a district title with a 41-21 home victory over Prairie View on Friday.
Luke Laskowski ran for a 72-yard touchdown on the second play of the game for the Bulldogs, who improved to 6-3.

Eudora High’s football team couldn’t stop De Soto in its season finale, suffering a 44-0 road loss Friday.
The Cardinals, who didn’t advance out of district play, ended the season with a 2-7 record.
