Harli Ridling homered, doubled and drove in five runs, and Kansas’ softball team defeated Wisconsin-Green Bay, 12-0, in its home opener Friday at Arrocha Ballpark.

The Jayhawks (13-9) outhit Green Bay 11-2 in their first game of the Jayhawk Invitational.

Alexis Reid (7-4) allowed two hits over four innings.

Today’s games in the tournament have been canceled because of bad weather. On Sunday, KU will meet Green Bay at 1:15 p.m. and Iowa at 5:45 p.m.
