Basketball roundup: Seabury boys advance to sub-state title game
Led by Mikey Wycoff’s 27 points, Bishop Seabury’s boys basketball team advanced to the sub-state title game with a 66-49 victory over Jefferson Co. North on Thursday at Valley Falls.
The Seahawks (17-4), looking for a trip to the Class 2A state tournament for the second straight year, will play Jackson Heights (14-7) at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Valley Falls.

With a strong start Thursday, Eudora High’s boys basketball team cruised past Baldwin, 57-25, in the first round of sub-state at the Bonner Springs YMCA.
Mitchell Ballock led Eudora with 26 points.
In a rematch of last year’s Class 4A-I state quarterfinal, the Cardinals (19-2) will face Bishop Miege (18-3) in the sub-state championship at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in Bonner Springs.
