Behind 19 points from Tori Huslig and 15 points from Alyssa Krestan, Veritas Christian’s girls basketball team withstood a fourth-quarter rally from Derby Invasion for a 48-46 win at the East Lawrence Rec Center on Saturday.

“This is our first win against them in a while, they had beaten us the previous three times,” Veritas coach Kevin Shelton said.

The Eagles (11-3) will play host to Manhattan CHIEF on Tuesday.
