Baker University’s women’s basketball team capped its Heart of America Conference season with a 77-59 victory over Grand View on Saturday in Baldwin City, finishing the regular season with a league title and 26-4 overall record.

After the game, Baker honored its senior class of Sydney Buchel, MacKenzie Cook and Kelsey Larson.

The Wildcats have earned an automatic bid in the NAIA Division I tournament March 15-21 in Billings, Mont. Baker also has the No. 1 seed in next week’s Heart of America tournament.

It’s the fifth straight season Baker has finished with at least 20 victories, and this is the fourth straight season BU has qualified for the NAIA tournament.
