Nelson takes 3rd at Wellsville

? Bishop Seabury freshman runner Henry Nelson placed third at the Wellsville Invitational on Thursday, leading the boys cross country team to ninth among 10 teams.

Nelson was third in 18:09.27, his best time and placing this season. Eudora High junior Noah Katzenmeier was 13th in 19:15 and sophomore Bobby Lounsbury took 15th in 19:22.

Seabury’s girls team was last in the team standings at seventh, led by sophomore Ella Blake in 35th place in 26:00. Eudora freshmen Riley Hiebert and Reagan Hiebert were second and third, respectively, in 21:14 and 21:47.

Eudora’s boys and girls cross country teams both placed second.
