Sexual assault involving a minor is under investigation, police say
Police say they are investigating a reported sexual assault involving a minor.
Lawrence Police Sgt. Amy Rhoads said on Thursday afternoon that the sexual assault was reported in the 1600 block of Haskell Avenue and that a juvenile was involved.
Rhoads said she did not have any information regarding when the reported assault happened or if anybody has been arrested regarding the incident.
Police are actively investigating the report, Rhoads said.
