Baldwin City ? Baldwin High’s football team nearly fought back from a 20-point halftime deficit against Holton on Thursday, but lost 20-14 Thursday at Liston Stadium in the first round of the Class 4A-II playoffs.

Junior quarterback Luke Laskowski scored two touchdowns in the second half for the Bulldogs.

Baldwin ended the season with a 3-7 record.
