A Eudora man is accused of sex crimes involving a child under the age of 18 over the course of several months.

According to a criminal complaint filed in Douglas County District Court, the man, who is 66 years old, promoted “a performance that includes sexually explicit conduct by a child” once on Aug. 28, 2015, and twice on October 30, 2015.

The man turned himself in to the Douglas County Jail on Saturday and was released later that day after posting a $10,000 bond.

The man will next appear in court for a preliminary hearing where the court will decide whether there is enough evidence to order him to stand trial.
