KU Crime Blotter: May 30 through June 12

The following incidents were reported to the Kansas University Office of Public Safety between Monday, May 30, and Sunday, June 12. Incidents are listed by the dates they were reported. (Instead of weekly, the Journal-World is publishing the KU Crime Blotter every two weeks during the summer months.)

June 10

• Someone vandalized and damaged a vending machine June 10 at Snow Hall. Damage was estimated at $150.

June 6

• Lewd and lascivious behavior occurred about 3:10 p.m. June 6 at Robinson Center. A man saw another man masturbating in a locker room.

• Theft of mislaid property occurred between May 25 and June 6. A license plate was sent through the KU mail system and did not arrive at its destination. Loss was valued at $37.

June 3

• Police stopped a driver for driving with expired tags about midnight June 3 at Naismith Drive and Cresent Road, and found the person in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

June 1

• Police found someone in possession of drug paraphernalia and “an unknown green leafy vegetation” suspected to be marijuana about 2:25 p.m. June 1 at Lippincott Hall. The person was arrested.

May 30

• Someone cut a lock and stole a bicycle May 29 or May 30 at Ellsworth Hall. Loss was valued at $180. Damage was estimated at $20.
