Baker’s Brettell player of year

? Baker University junior quarterback Logan Brettell was named the 2016 NAIA National Player of the Year, the national office announced Friday night.

Brettell helped lead the Wildcats to a 14-0 record. Baker will meet St. Francis (Ind.) at 5 p.m. (CST) today at Municipal Stadium in Daytona Beach.

Brettell has broken numerous Baker records in 2016 including passing yards in a season with 4,810, passing touchdowns in a season with 51 and career passing touchdowns with 62.

He is third all-time in Baker history in passing yards with 6,282 and in total offensive yards with 6,909.
