McLouth Threshing Bee offers demonstrations, tractor rides

Farm machinery of days gone by will take center stage Friday through Sunday at the McLouth Threshing Bee.

The bee, which started in 1957, will kick off Friday and feature the Antique Caterpillar Machinery Owners Association and Historical Construction Equipment Association demonstrating their equipment.

Daily events planned are an antique car and truck show, flea market, earth-moving demonstration and Cat Club work weekend. The saw mill also will be running throughout each day and youth activities will be available each day.

An overnight camping site is available. Campers will have to supply their own generators, as electricity will not be available. Coolers also are permitted on the grounds, but glass bottles are not allowed.
