Kansas freshman midfielder Parker Roberts has been honored by the Big 12 Conference as the Freshman Player of the Week.

Roberts, from Leawood, played a role in both goals in the Jayhawks’ 2-1 victory at SMU. She assisted on the first KU score before converting the game-winner in the 68th minute. She added a game-high five shots in the 2-1 Kansas victory at North Texas. It is the first Big 12 weekly honor earned by a Jayhawk this season.
