CLO’s Midnight Farm offers opportunities for country living, work and recreation for kids and adults with special needs. CLO’s Midnight Farm needs volunteers to assist with several five-day camps throughout the summer for kids with and without disabilities. Horse Camps are June 8-12, June 22-26, and July 6-10. Special needs day camps are June 15-19 and July 13-17. Training for both camps is June 2. Volunteers must be older than 14 and have transportation. • Douglas County Senior Services Inc. needs volunteers to deliver lunchtime meals to homebound residents. Lawrence routes run between 11 a.m. and noon Monday through Friday. • The Lawrence Community Shelter is looking for a volunteer to serve as its coordinator of volunteers. If you have the commitment and the drive to succeed in a key role in the organization, please contact brooksd@lawrenceshelter.org.

• Douglas County Community Corrections is looking for long-term volunteers to mentor adult offenders. Mentors will serve as guides in helping the offenders establish connections in the community and provide guidance and assistance to probationers. • Heartland Community Health Center is looking for a detail-oriented person to organize and manage electronic medical records.
