Kansas claims 39 track spots

Thirty-nine entries for Kansas University’s men’s and women’s track teams have been accepted for the preliminary round of the NCAA Outdoor, set for May 28-30 in Austin, Texas.

The KU women feature 17 athletes and a relay for 22 entries, and the KU men have 15 athletes and a relay for 17 entries.

The top 12 finishers in each event will qualify for the national semifinal and final rounds of the NCAA Outdoor on June 10-13 in Eugene, Oregon.
