Ride for Charity raises money for Health Care Access

Body Boutique and Free State Ride’s inaugural Spinning Ride for Charity raised $1,350 for Health Care Access while promoting women’s heart health.

The participants donated a base amount to take part in a 90-minute workout led by three instructors. Health Care Access’ Wellness team supplied heart health and nutritional information to all the participants. The ride was open to the public, and two patients from HCA’s Wellness program got on bikes and took part.

The wellness program helps HCA’s patients, who are low-income and uninsured Douglas County residents, with personal health goals including diet consultation and one-on-one personal training.
