Iowa baseball slips past KU

Kansas University collected seven hits and eight walks but stranded 10 runners in a 6-4 baseball loss to Iowa on Saturday at Hoglund Ballpark.

Iowa (13-5) bolted to a 3-0 lead in the first and never trailed, though the Jayhawks managed a 4-all tie in the fifth before surrendering single runs in the sixth and eighth.

Connor McKay and Joe Moroney each had two hits.
