Ottawa boys reach state semis

? Isaac McCullough scored a game-high 13 points and pulled down nine rebounds to lead Ottawa’s boys basketball team past Fort Scott, 53-44, in the quarterfinals of the Kansas Class 4A Division I state tournament.

The Cyclones trailed by one at the break, but scored 16 points apiece in the third and fourth quarters to take control.

Ottawa (21-2) will advance to play Basehor-Linwood (23-0) in the semifinals at 4:45 p.m. on Friday at the Salina Bicentennial Center.
