Journal-World managing editor resigns
Julie Wright, managing editor of the Lawrence Journal-World, has resigned.
Wright had served as managing editor since June 2013. Her last day with the newspaper was Wednesday. Prior to the Journal-World, Wright worked as a reporter and editor for several newspapers including the Anchorage Daily News, the Minneapolis Star-Tribune, the Wichita Eagle and the Jackson (Tenn.) Sun.
The Journal-World is actively seeking Wright’s replacement.
