The executive director of Douglas County Senior Services has tendered her resignation.

Phil Godwin, who sits on Senior Services’ board, said Monday he was told last week that Kristin Scheurer was resigning.

Scheurer did not give board members a specific reason for stepping down, Godwin said.

Godwin could not immediately say when Scheurer will officially step down.

“She’s giving us some time to find somebody, but I’m not sure when her last day is,” Godwin said.
