Candidate forums scheduled in advance of city commission, school board primaries
Candidate forums for Lawrence City Commission and school board candidates have been scheduled for next week, in advance of the March 3 primaries.
City commission candidates will participate in a meet-and-greet at 5 p.m. Monday at the Lawrence Public Library, 707 Vermont St.
The four candidates competing for a two-year term on the school board will take part in a forum at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at Merchants Pub & Plate, 746 Massachusetts St.
The forums are hosted by the Voter Education Coalition, Channel 6 and LawrenceHits.com.
