Kansas University junior forward Perry Ellis has been named 2014-15 Big 12 men’s basketball scholar-athlete of the year, the league announced today. Ellis is a two-time Academic all-Big 12 pick in addition to a 2012-13 academic all-Big 12 rookie team honoree. He has a 3.25 grade point average and is majoring in sport management.
