Baldwin City ? Missouri Valley earned a share of the HAAC football title with a 27-24 victory over Baker on Saturday at Liston Stadium.

Missouri Valley (9-1 overall, 8-1 HAAC) tied MidAmerica Nazarene for the title. The No. 12-ranked Wildcats fell to 8-3 and 6-3 and will learn today if they’ll receive a bid to the NAIA-FCS playoffs.

Baker fell behind 14-0 but tied it on a 20-yard pass from Nick Marra to T. J. Holtrop and a one-yard run by Camren Torneden. Torneden, a Free State High product, gained 107 yards on 22 carries. Justice Berry added a fourth-quarter score on a pass from Marra.
