Benefit to be held for man recovering from accident
An event named “The Bob Benefit” will be held 7:00 p.m. Sunday at Frank’s North Star Tavern, 508 Locust St.
Bob, brother of a Lawrence resident, is currently in a rehab facility in Austin, Texas, and funds collected from the benefit will go to helping him pay for medical and other expenses.
There will be a silent auction, a raffle and three bands will play: Ready Brothers, Old Fangled, and Better the Devil.
