? Easton Barnes belted a three-run home run, Bryce Montes de Oca pitched one-hit ball for 4 2/3 innings, and Lawrence High blanked Leavenworth, 8-0, on Thursday in high school baseball.

Barnes’ home run in the fourth inning broke open a scoreless game. Montes de Oca allowed only a third-inning single, and Daonte Lowery and Brad Kincaid completed the one-hitter.

“Bryce, Daonte and Brad were really good on the mound,” LHS coach Brad Stoll said. “I think the kids were really relaxed at the plate tonight and able to focus on hitting the ball hard. It was a well-played game.”
